Foreman Mold Making

Opportunity
Under the direct supervision of the General Supervisor Casting & Molds, Plant I, is responsible for receive the raw material in the department, supervision of the elaboration of molds, preparation and supervision and distribution of mold in cast shop, administration of the personnel to their area, control and maintenance the team of the department in order to achieve efficiency in productivity, maintain yields, schedule adherence, and personnel safety.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow of the Master Production System (MPS) and the replacement of the Manual cast production lines.
Responsible of the development of the weekly molds production plan.
Responsible of accomplish the replacement mold program of the manual cast production lines.
Maintain under control and follow the key process variables for the mold making, drying and molds preparation process.
Responsible of the Carpentry and welding workshops.
Responsible of maintain in good shape the tools and equipment’s of the department.
Elaboration and pursuit to work orders for the maintenance of the teams of the department.
To supervise appropriate use of team of security as well as to maintain order and cleaning in the department.
Coordination of checkups and tests with laboratory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school or Technical Degree.
EXPERIENCE:
Preference 1 to 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; particularly in a large plant and in a similar position.
FORMATION:
Preference working knowledge of Microsoft windows based software applications.
Position requires a mature, professional posture, supervisory capacity and strong leadership.
EDUCATION:
Preference High school or Technical Degree.
