Opportunity
Under the direction of the Spa Manager, KWS, the Spa Attendant Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of assigned areas, ensuring high levels of service are maintained and facilities well kept. With an exceptional knowledge of all services, products, and processes, the Spa Attendant Coordinator in partnership with the Guest services Coordinator prepares and empowers the Spa Attendants with clear goals, training, feedback, and development to serve our guests to the highest standard.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Self and staff compliance to Forbes and Kohler Hospitality policies and SOP/procedures including, but not limited to safety, grooming, attendance, guest/staff privacy, to create a safe and engaging work environment for all.
- Responsible for updating the policies and SOPs in a timely manner.
- Completion of staff onboarding processes and introduction meetings in addition to ensuring attendance of KWS DESIGN, 5-Star training.
- Supervision of Attendants, responsible for providing feedback and re-training staff as needed to ensure Forbes 5-Star standards are being maintained by staff.
- Proper Communication standards: Daily Huddle participation, draft weekly staff email communications, host bi-monthly team meetings, and attend quarterly spa and hotel all staff meetings.
- Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and guest amenity standards with 2x daily, walk throughs.
- Replenish guest amenity items.
- Ensure proper furniture arrangements and in working order.
- Organization of guest items in thermal suite.
- Address any violations of technology or noise policies.
- Proper cleanliness supported by the daily checklist.
- Submit proper facilities work orders for maintenance and follow through to completion.
- Report any noted safety hazards to Spa Manager or Hotel MOD.
- Assist in managing the department budget by providing data, reports, and documentation. (Daily checklist completion, beverage service, facilities walk-through).
- Host mid-year and annual reviews around staff performance.
- Continual review of Glint survey results with clear action plans in place to address staff feedback.
- Ordering completion for all items related to guest services: food, packaging, paper supplies, etc.
- Laundry facilitation includes delivery schedules, quality/quantities, display, and safe location/storage of these items.
- Self and staff compliance to uphold spa guest policies to ensure relaxation safety, and appropriateness: privacy, age, guest behavior, technology, noise violations, and return of lost items processes.
- Self and staff cross-trained in the Guest Services area and able to assist as needed.
- Serve on the Operations Team and participate in management training sessions and outside educational opportunities.
This is a full-time opportunity working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Prior customer service and computer experience required
- Ideal candidate will possess strong, effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
- Required to successfully fulfill training criteria before customer contact
- Strong organizational skills required
- Prior supervisory experience required

The hourly range for this position is $17.45 - $26.15. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
