Lead Massage Therapist, Sports Core

Opportunity
The primary focus of a Massage Therapist is to support the commitment to customer care by efficiently and effectively providing the highest level of service. Must have excellent working knowledge of massage techniques, products, and procedures within Sports Core. Ensure member and guest comfort and satisfaction. Exceed client expectations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service set forth by Sports Core. Team members are responsible for upholding consistency in all standards. A direct line of communication is to be on-going among fellow associates regarding needs, concerns, and information. A professional demeanor must be presented at all times. In addition:
- Meet and greet members and guests with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in all areas – including treatment rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Use proper verbiage at all times.
- Uphold and maintain set uniform and grooming standards.
- Knowledge of Sports Core services and amenities.
- Provide the highest level of technical service and adhere to SOP’s.
- Meet agreed-upon retail sales goals by educating guests on at home care. (Sales goals set depending on department and retail to service percentage.)
- Knowledge of Sports Core operations, services and amenities.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures. Includes “uncomfortable” situations which may arise with clients.
- Maintain continuing education based on State of Wisconsin requirements.
- Adhere to policies in place at Sports Core and Kohler Co.
- Perform other duties assigned
This is a part time opportunity working weekdays & weekends. Shifts will vary between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements
- Massage Therapy License - Nationally Accredited
- 6+ years experience in licensed field
- Preferred leadership experience with 3+ years of massage experience
- Ideally, open availability to manage a schedule for 7 therapists
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current state license required. Department of Safety & Professional Services
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Follows service standards put in place by Sports Core
- Computer knowledge/experience helpful
- Candidate possesses strong, effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
- Required to fulfill training criteria before customer contact and maintain
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- This associate will assume several hours of administrative duties weekly, as listed below, at an hourly rate
-Function in a leadership role
-Participate in new hire and seasonal training and mentoring
-Participate in scheduling
-Participate in service menu development
-Accepts additional projects as assigned by supervisor
The competitive commission range for this position + tips/gratuity may be influenced by a variety of factors.
