Material Controller/Coordinator, Kohler Hospitality

Opportunity
The primary responsibilities are to facilitate the flow of purchasing information and data through the Global Procurement systems and processes, ensure the accuracy and validity of all purchasing-related data and to facilitate the maintenance of Purchasing’s master files. In addition, the Material Controller/Coordinator will be responsible for involvement with the development, test and production of software programs and processes as requested, in support of Hospitality & Real Estate Purchasing. Programs and processes include performance metrics, master files, audit reports, Contract Management, SRM, SAP, etc. Candidate will be familiar with SAP, SRM, from both a content and process perspective; and participate in data reporting projects.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the accuracy and validity of purchasing-related data; facilitate the entry and maintenance of Purchasing data through coordinated efforts across Hospitality & Real Estate Purchasing, i.e. Supplier Master File, Supplier Certification
Place orders as necessary of Kohler Hospitality goods, services, materials, programs, etc.
Act as Hospitality Purchasing Super-user for programs and processes within Global Procurement, i.e. SRM, SAP, Contract Management.
This position is onsite 4 days in Kohler.
Skills/Requirements
- Two-year associate degree or a high school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehousing and shipping procedures and methods.
- Knowledge of Kohler Co. product offering is helpful.
- Capable of effective oral/written communication.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
