FUNCTION
Under Supply
Chain Director Latin America , K&B Group supervision, the Supply Chain
Manager, K&B Mexico and Rest of Latin America is responsible for leading
areas related of Sales & Operations planning, Purchasing, Import &
Export supply and Logistics (inbound and outbound) for Kohler products across
Mexico and rest of Latin America excluding Brazil.
SCOPE
OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, lead and coordinate all
related Sales, Operations and Planning functions. Work in conjunction
with Demand and Supply Teams for Kohler Kitchen and Bath Americas.
- Participates and builds
actively the MBR and Capacity Planning, Inventory Controls for Mexico
- Supports and manages short- and
long-term demand and supply fluctuations, collaborates closely with
customer service, Operations, Manufacturing to guarantee optimal Inventory
and Service Levels to Customers Collaboration with other
K&B Global and Local Supply Chain teams and functions to ensure
appropriate supply is available where required.
- This role encompasses
comprehension and input into the demand planning process, alignment of
supply management, support of New Product Development (NPD), management of
product lead times, and accountability for delivering service commitments.
- Lead and manage all aspects of
government regulatory compliance for international import and export
shipments of the Kohler Co.
- Supports and Manage Current and
future Direct Shipment Program with Sites in Asia to supply in Mexico, and
Rest of Latin America, including the management of our 3PL Site in
Monterrey Mexico
- Responsible and accountable to
manage cost and drive efficiencies for all Transportation related costs
for Inbound, Interplant freight and Customer Delivery freight movements.
- Works closely with Sourcing
Transportation Group KBA to assure new and better rates are negotiated
annually to drive cost efficiency on supply chain expenses.
- Works intimately with Customer
Service KBA group to drive and maintain healthy Past Due levels, aged
orders, LOTIF, works on recovery plans, customer visits, and interactions
with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing teams as well as claims and
returns from customers.
- Supports Sales Teams on New
Product Launches, campaigns and our Kohler Signature Stores and Kohler
Experience Centers in Mexico and rest of Latin America
- Manage all aspects of sales
journal reports including actual sales, forecasts, sales order entry, past
due, aged orders as necessary.
- Develop supply plans and
monitor adherence to drive SKUs to lead times target.
- Identify gaps between customer
stated lead time performance and targets and adjust accordingly.
- Coordinate and ensure accurate
and timely processing of import and export, and work closely with Trade
Compliance to avoid paying unnecessary duties, work on future tariff
mitigation efforts as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Position requires a B.S. degree
in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics or
a related field and +10 years of related experience.
- Knowledge and experience with
lean manufacturing and project management techniques is highly valued.
- Specific knowledge in
multi-site distribution networks and knowledge of materials management,
inventory control, warehouse and DC operations, material
handling equipment, and transportation are a plus.
- Experience negotiating
contracts and creating and managing budgets and capital plans is a
plus.
- Leadership, interpersonal and
communication skills are essential.
- Exceptional Excel, SAP and
analytical skills are required.
- Must be capable of defining,
analyzing, and resolving complicated problems.
- Ability to communicate with all
levels of the organization.
- Knowledge in SAP system and
e-commerce tools.
- Fluency in English. Portuguese
is desirable.
