Sr Product Training Manager

Opportunity
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. ProductTraining Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering engaging product training tools for new and existing products for assigned product categories as well as modeling emotionally intelligent leadership and communication.
This role involvescreatingand implementing training strategiesforeachassigned category, working closely with product managers, engineers, and brand and channel marketing to ensure that their training programs accurately reflect the latest features and functionality of the products. They will also be responsible for training internal and externalcustomersbyfocusing ontellingappropriate stories, benefit-lead features, and differentiation. Inaddition,thisindividual will provide customer feedback that identifies gaps and opportunities in the market. This role will define processes to improve efficiency, ROI, and product training content.
Inthisrole,youwillseekto:
- Developandexecutetheassignedproductcategoriestraining strategy
- Enhancethemarketlaunchofnewproductsfor sales team and customerswithtargetedtraining programs and content, including online and competitive comparisons
- Owntrainingobjectivesandhowtheyalignwiththebusinessobjectives. Optimize the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Take on new opportunities and touch challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Demonstratehigh-levelpresentation/communicationskills.
- Collaborateandfosterrelationshipswithinternalandexternalpartners.

Specific Responsibilities
- Developanddeliverengagingproducttrainingcontentandtoolsfornewand existing products in the portfolio.
- Createandimplementatrainingstrategyforeach responsible category.
- Identifythetargetaudience'strainingneedsanddesignannualtrainingprograms accordingly.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and brand and channel marketingtoensurethattheirtrainingprogramsaccuratelyreflectthelatest product features and functionality.
- Converttechnicalspecificationsintocustomer-ledtrainingcontent.
- Conducttrainingwithinternalandexternalcustomers
- Createhigh-impactlearningexperiencestoacceleratelearningandmicro- learning.
- Providefeedbackfromcustomersthatidentifygapsandopportunitiesinthe market.
- Ensurethatalltrainingmaterialsareuptodateandrelevanttocurrentofferings.
- Gainadeepunderstandingoftheproductorserviceanditspotentialapplications within the industry.
- Design,develop,andpresenttrainingprogramsthateducateassociatesonbest practices.
- Maintaincurrentknowledgeofourproductofferingsandcompetitors’products.
- Assesstheorganization’sstrengthsandweaknessesinproductknowledgeand skills and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’sdegreeinmarketing,business,oranotherrelated field.
- 10+yearsofexperiencein producttraining orarelatedfield.
- Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills. A desire to consider and explore differences in perspective, thought, and experience from persons from a variety of backgrounds.
- Strongorganizationalandprojectmanagementskills.
- Ability to workindependentlyand aspartof ateam.
- Abilitytomanagemultiple projectssimultaneously. Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
- Abilitytoexplaincomplex technicalconceptsclearly.
- Traveltotradeshowsandcustomervisitsasneeded,approximately30%.
- Familiarity with Articulate 360 a plus.

The salary range for this position is $145,350 - $228,450. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
