Inventory Coordinator - Kohler Retail

Opportunity
The Inventory Coordinator for retail outlets will
work under limited supervision in the Kohler Retail Shops Central Receiving department
and will manage inbound and outbound vendor shipments for multiple retail
outlets. The Inventory Coordinator will log newly received inventory, generate
pricing materials, and coordinate the delivery of product to the appropriate
outlet. This position will assist Corporate Retail with placing internal orders
as well as orders for Golf and Corporate groups. This position needs to have
flexibility during the ‘off-season’ to pick up hours at other Kohler H&RE
businesses to maintain full-time status (if applicable).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accept and record new shipments, at times signing for Fed Ex, UPS and other carriers.
- Lead and oversee the maintenance of daily records of shipments and invoices for management of product inventory levels.
- Ensure all incoming orders are received against an approved Purchase Order through verification of product specification, price and that quantities have been met.
- Generate and attach appropriate price tags/labels.
- Reject deliveries that do not meet Purchase Order specifications and inform applicable leadership.
- Work with retail leaders to coordinate the delivery of products to multiple retail outlets, using a delivery vehicle. This includes loading and unloading products.
- In partnership with
retail leaders, assist with price changes through applicable systems for
display labels and through Point-of-Sale system(s).
- Work directly with vendors regarding errors, pricing, duplicate or
partial shipments.
- Audit the reconciliation of orders, returns, etc.
- Assist in the training and development of Receiving
& Shipping associates and Coordinators.
- Assist in control of direct operating expenses
by maintaining appropriate par levels for all controllable supplies
Corporate Retail
- Assist Retail Sales Manager in meeting with golf groups or corporate contacts and align on specific retail requests. Retail Sales Manager to assign specifics duties, including quoting prices, ordering product, sharing samples/proofs, building purchase orders, receiving product, confirming logo validity, delivering to groups, and charging the product out of the POS system.
- Assist the Retail Sales Manager or Senior Leadership in executing Corporate and Golf Group experiences and selecting merchandise offerings.
- Assist Retail Sales Manager with managing the Kohler Associate Store and by extension, collaborate with the Kohler Collection staff to ensure product cohesion.
- Assist with the fulfillment, charge outs, shipping, reconciliation and accuracy of all Kohler Wisconsin and Kohler Visa Gift Cards.
E-Commerce
- Assist with the fulfillment, charge outs, shipping, reconciliation and accuracy of all Kohler Wisconsin gift cards sold.
- Assist with the fulfillment, charge outs, shipping, reconciliation and accuracy of all Kohler Collection online purchases.
This is a part-time position. Shifts vary between 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years previous retail
experience required with previous experience in receiving and inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalency required, Associate degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience with Dataworks and ResortSuite
software desired.
- Strong communication, time
management, and attention to detail required.
- Excellent mathematical skills required and advanced skills in
Excel.
- The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and to lift up to 50 pounds.

The hourly range for this position is $21.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
