About the Role
We are currently looking for someone with a strong knowledge
and true passion for golf to join our Golf Concierge team as a Golf Concierge Supervisor.
In this position you will be dedicated to curating an exceptional golfing
experience for every guest. Supporting the Head of Golf Services in delivering
the highest standards of service, ensuring every detail of our guests golfing
journey is seamless, personalised and unforgettable.
From managing itineraries and hire items to coordinating
transfers and tee times, you will be pivotal in creating memorable moments for
our guests. Your expertise will help guide guests through ballot entries for
the Old Course, sharing your knowledge in golf particularly on local courses, going
beyond what is expected by our guests and to be the resort ambassador for golf.
This role has a unique benefit of compressed working days
during the high golf season, allowing for your full-time hours to be worked
over 4 days per week, returning to 5 days per week during the quieter periods.
This is a role for someone passionate about golf and
hospitality, with a commitment to luxury service and a keen eye for detail.
Your responsibilities will include;
- To support and upsell to golfing guests during their stay.
- Identify ways to increase sales and services.
- Set out clear daily targets for each revenue area.
- Maintain gross profit margins according to the plan and set pricing to achieve these margins.
- Train and upskill associates in guest services and upselling techniques to maximise revenue.
- Booking tee times.
- Assisting guests with ballot entries to play on the Old Course.
- Organising and coordinating transfers for golf guests.
- Monitor the condition of the hire items, organising replacements where required.
- Suggest new and creative ideas for services that set the Old Course Hotel apart from other golf services in the area.
- To be a role model; exhibit professionalism and be the resort ambassador for golf.
To be successful in this role you will have the following
qualities and experience:
- Strong golf experience and knowledge, particularly in courses in the local area (essential)
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Friendly, approachable and you take pride in your ability to deliver the highest level of service.
- Ability to deal calmly with guests, reaching a satisfactory outcome to any issues or complaints.
- Strong computer literacy skills.

November – February 5 out of 7 days
Salary
£29,176.19
per annum + gratuity
