Opportunity
As a Dishwasher, you will play a key roll in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment and understand the importance or sanitation in a premium food retail setting. This role is essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and trash receptacles
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed (e.g., peeling vegetable, portioning ingredients)
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and dishwashing chemicals
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals
- Support cooks and production team by ensuring timely availability of clean items
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
- Uphold the store’s standards of excellence in cleanliness and professionalism
This is a part-time position with shifts varying from 3pm -12am on weekdays and weekends.
Skills/Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holiday
The hourly range for this position is $16-18/Hr. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
