The Manager, IT Integration is responsible for managing the team, coordinating, and delegating tasks related to projects, service requests, incidents, release management and software development of the Integrations Team at Sonepar. Reporting to and supporting the Director of IT Architecture, Data, AI and Integration, the manager oversees the team, the planning and coordination of activities in support of the integration system(s) used by Sonepar.
Scope of the Position:
The Manager, IT Integration is responsible for managing the team, coordinating, and delegating tasks related to projects, service requests, incidents, release management and software development of the Integrations Team at Sonepar. Reporting to and supporting the Director of IT Architecture, Data, AI and Integration, the manager oversees the team, the planning and coordination of activities in support of the integration system(s) used by Sonepar.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee the architecture and maintenance of integration platforms, APIs, and data pipelines for real-time and batch connectivity
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable and secure system interoperability
- Guide, coach and mentor Integrations team.
- Establish and enforce development standards and processes along with best practices.
- Involvement in strategic plan decisions.
- Establish best practices for model monitoring, retraining, and integration version control
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and measure outcomes
- Establish patterns, reusability standards and best practices for APIs and systems connectivity through the Integration Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Supervise resource allocations to assure attainment of business and personal development goals.
- In depth knowledge of all aspects of the business is required to be able to effectively guide, suggest, implement, monitor, and execute system requirements and enhancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Solid understanding of API management, ETL frameworks, model lifecycle management, and data pipelines
- 5 – 7 years of experience in IT leadership roles related to integration architecture
- 5 + years hands-on experience Integrating system using an Enterprise Service Bus, or custom enterprise integration system
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Azure Environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Azure Dev-Ops
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Microsoft Fabric
- ERP experience with SAP, Infor SX, Eclipse an asset
- 3+ years of experience with project change management
- Programming background is helpful (Python)
- SQL Sever experience is helpful
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a pragmatic mindset for innovation
