RESPONSIBILITIES
Member of
the SFO Supply Chain organization, this position reports to the SFO Plant
Manager with a dotted line to the North America Supply Chain Director.
Responsible
for the overall management and leading the supply chain team in executing best
practices and measuring performance, providing operational support and guidance
to ensure maximum productivity. This includes but is not limited to materials
management functions relating to the Planning using Integrated Business
Planning methodologies, procurement, directing and administering raw
material/components, warehousing, storage, Inventory control and accuracy,
supermarket, material flow, Shipping/Receiving and distribution of products, to
meet the operational execution, fulfillment, and working capital goals of the
company.
TARGETS
- Direct and coordinates supply
chain functions through strategy, resource optimization,
profitability maximization, and KPIs, maximizing customer
satisfaction.
- Sets the vision for the supply
chain department and is ultimately accountable for the performance team.
- Develop an appropriate supply
chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at lowest possible cost.
- Directing the workforce in such
a manner as to meet approved productions schedules with the budget cost.
- Based on the sales forecast,
provide an annual plan for production, raw materials, staffing, and
equipment.
- Release raw material purchase
plan according to production, monitor the purchase order process.
- Optimize the production
planning process and cultivate the ability of employees to evaluate the
rationality of production demand based on historical, current, and forecast data.
- Maintains optimum inventory
levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while
minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges. Identifies
and resolves shortages.
- Monitor the inventory levels.
Continuously reduce inventory turnover while meeting customer needs.
- Ensure timely and effective
completion of production and sales requirements.
- Lead effective
inter-departmental communication on customer order delivery, procurement,
and production processes, approaching continuous improvement of delivery efficiency.
- Establish effective
communication with customers to improve service quality and customer
satisfaction.
- Evaluated product categories
according to orders and inventory; Ensuring customer needs are met.
- Analyze root causes of problems
in production and supply chain with a world-class and Lean approach.
- Work with Finance to establish
procedures and supervise the annual physical inventory, including
valuing the year-end physical inventory.
- Owns and leads the receiving
and proper storage of components and FG, Inventory control, material flow,
and shipping functions and teams, maintaining optimal inventory accuracy
to meet the business needs.
- Strictly abide by the rules and
regulations of production safety, and environmental policies and
principles.
- Participate in annual financial
planning, provide production forecast, and manpower requirements.
- Manage and supervise the
warehouse's daily work to guarantee the best assets are utilized.
- Implement improvement actions
to ensure an efficient warehouse plan, guide and supervise delivery
and shipment work, and ensure punctual delivery.
- Lead cross-functional
problem-solving efforts to improve plant metrics and customer delivery.
- Initiates and processes the
obsolescent material disposition process.
- Manage and coach subordinates
on performance and career paths, ensuring development, integrity,
and resiliency in the supply chain areas.
- Implementation of Lean
Manufacturing principles and Kaizen initiatives to align and drive KOS
strategies across the supply chain areas and functions, focus on KMMS
and KPFS.
- Oversees and ensures proper
production control planning and scheduling programs to meet
sales forecasts and balance labor and machine capacity. Accountable
for executing the Master Production
- Schedule through the
operational execution of the detailed production schedule.
- Possesses a continuous
improvement mindset and imbues the culture with a sense of
urgency/excellence.
- Develops, establishes, and
maintains reporting systems related to the supply chain functions.
- Safety Champion driving the
team in safety culture with new processes to promote safety.
- Customer service with delivery
greater than 95% on-time in full.
- Aligned with the company
standard practices and procedures are followed in all supply chain
functions.
- Report accidents and injuries
and ensure proper treatment protocols are met.
- Train and mentor employees,
including reinforcement of safety guidelines.
- Responsible for proper
application of established employee relation's policies, Wage and
Salary Administration policies, safety and health regulations and
procedures.
- Monitor the third-party
logistics company, make sure competitive service can be provided.
- Responsible for developing
capital budgets, plan replacement, project the equipment, staffing,
facilities requirements, new capital requirements needed for current and
future projects in all supply chain areas to meet projected levels of
operation and inventories.
- Maintain established goals and
objectives to monitor labor efficiency and control costs.
- Oversee recommendations of
approvals of promotions, merit increases, transfers, leaves of absence,
and other personnel changes.

related to products or purchased goods problems.

existing programs and development of future projects.

security and security of shipments and products.

Occasional
contact with customers.

industry supplier base. Reports on new developments and changes
may impact or provide opportunities for the SFO Kohler Co.

and equipment used to support the supply chain operations.

EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply
chain, Engineering, Business, or a management-related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of
experience with proven results in materials control, planning and
scheduling, production control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and
warehousing.
- Knowledge of the practical
application of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement certification
or equivalent experience necessary to succeed in this role.
- Knowledge of raw materials,
production processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the
effective manufacture, material flow and distribution of goods.
- Expertise in SAP for Logistics,
Production Planning, Materials Management, and WM.
- Provides the best services
