About
I’m a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who has built a career through grit, adaptability, and hands-on expertise. During my service, I was responsible for the maintenance and records of six M198 Howitzers with India Battery, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marines. That attention to detail and discipline followed me into the trades.
After completing my enlistment, I returned to welding and fabrication, working for over 17 years across OEMs and job shops. My experience spans shearing, forming, pipe fitting, and welding (carbon and stainless steel), both in-shop and in the field — from agricultural equipment to wine-making systems. I also built jigs, managed painting, assembly, and final delivery of products.
In 2019, I pivoted into the renewable energy sector, joining a startup Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plant just nine months after commissioning. I progressed from Auxiliary Operator to Control Room Operator, and eventually became the Maintenance Lead. Despite no formal training in natural gas or chemical processes, I relied on years of practical knowledge to succeed — cutting and threading pipe, understanding compressor systems, managing BOMs, procuring parts, and leading turnarounds.
In this role, I planned and executed major system upgrades (O₂ and N₂ removal) and spearheaded improvements in plant safety, availability, and reliability — all without the training I was promised. I take pride in my ability to learn fast, lead effectively, and collaborate with skilled tradespeople to solve complex problems.
