Production Supervisor

Opportunity
We are looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising production employees on assigned shifts to ensure production guidelines are being met within established timing, quality, and cost standards. They will train, direct, coach and lead the production team in the day-to-day operations to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery and culture standards. The Production Supervisor drives the communication of production goals and objectives, as well as results, to effectively motivate the team to maintain high standards of product quality, in a fast-paced production environment, while maximizing plant efficiencies.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide proper leadership & guidance related to recruiting, onboarding, training, development, and performance management while maintaining effective communications with all plastic associates, plant staff and other facility associates to include their staff members.
- Assign production jobs and/or machines to plastic associates daily as required to maintain proper levels of production. Follow-up on associates to ensure they are performing the job as required by our standard operating procedures and/or quality requirements as specified. To include the proper use of all quality gages, packaging, etc.
- Frequently monitor the production floor by interacting with each associate on shift and reviewing their area for any safety, quality, and production concerns.
- Review production totals and machine efficiencies frequently throughout the shift and report issues preventing the team from achieving daily goals.
- Drive 100% on time delivery to our customers
- Maintain proper files & records on all associates in accordance with company policy. Maintain daily production records to include scrap and enter data into SAP at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a safe & clean plant with good working conditions for all associates, while maintaining a high level of morale throughout the facility.
- Oversee the inspection, continuous improvement and sustainability of the area supervised to ensure safe work practices by associates for associates.
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Be a self-starter who is highly motivated, has good communication and people skills.
- Computer skills with MS Windows or equivalent system experience are desirable.
- Experience in the plastic injection molding industry and leadership is desirable.

The salary range for this position is $69,650 - $105,850. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
