Sr Analyst-International Trade Compliance

Opportunity
Responsible for the import of goods, materials, components, spare parts and machinery and all needed for production and all related areas inside de company SFO plant. Responsible for export all finished goods we produce, samples, and all related and needed shipment as they need to be exported.
Make other supply chain department activities, always looking to keeping the highest
service levels to the end customer. Build and maintain strong internal relationships to achieve continuous improvements in import, export, receiving, delivery, quality and cost. Participate in supply chain decision-making to attain production plan and all needs that has to by cover.
Knowledge of the following, Mexican Laws and regulations (ANEXO 24, 30), free trade agreements and its application, Certifications of IVA, IMMEX, Regla 8va, Regla 2da, Pedimentos partes II. pedimentos document input, all related documents involved in import & Export operations.
Customs Broker activities. customs authorities' activities, carriers inbound and outbound activities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Interplant Shipments: Create the Shipping Purchase order, deliveries and complete all shipment process in SAP, maintaining audit process in SAP verifying that all deliveries are PGI and keeping physical inventory of FG matching to SAP.
Direct Customer Shipments: Review Customer open orders (SAP Transaction MCSI) and run the report S530 open order snapshot and according at the requirements update the inventory of IC Store and request to Kohler load planner release the shipments in SAP and we print the pick list and start with the loads, sent instructions to the Carrier for delivery the products.
Custom Broker activities: Supervise all Import and Export activities processed through the Custom Broker in all crossing points used by Sanimex Faucets as well as reviewing their invoices. Internal Communication: For internal & partner use only.
Others: Air, Railroad, Ground shipments, Yard control, coordinate activities as per needed on a daily basis.
Assure all related documents for import and export operations meet the law requirements, and they were properly given to our customs broker, so they are able to process our operations correctly. Assure all pedimentos meet Kohler operational needs and are properly fulfilled as law
demands.
Assure all invoices are properly registered in Control Inventories System (SSINCE).
Assure all pedimentos are properly registered in Control Inventories System (SSINCE).
Assure that all our inventories of temporary import parts are properly matched VS Data
Stage and Control Inventories System monthly (SSINCE).
Build trust by working in partnership with all involved areas, external suppliers and buyers to assure material availability and productivity.
Focus on the end customer by improving business and import & Export processes.
Perform Audits and sustaining of the KOS system .
Participate in annual physical inventory as directed by the Site supply chain manager .
Perform assignments as directed by the Import & Export Supervisor.
Participate in safety training, activities and accident prevention.
Stick to all laboral and civil regulations as the internal policies and regulations to maintain a good and safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills/Requirements
Degree in Business/Operations, International Relationship, Law, desired.
• 3+ years working in an import & Export area in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Cusotms Control Inventory System (SSINCE desired)
• Experience in SAP inventory management desired.
• Intermediate English level
• Demonstrated continuous improvement, analytical, mathematical, problem-solving and
organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, PPT and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
