Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition – China

BASIC FUNCTION
Are you a strategic Talent Acquisition Manager, interested in building a best-in-class regional Talent Acquisition team? The global Kohler Talent Acquisition function is on a journey to build and evolve processes, programs, and tools that enable talent acquisition strategies. Kohler Co is seeking a deeply experienced China TA Manager with experience managing complex recruiting teams, leading strategic projects, establishing recruiting strategies, and enhancing candidate and customer experience. The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will be based in Shanghai and will focus on overall talent acquisition delivery in China. This individual will develop relationships with our key stakeholders and be a true business partner in the attraction, selection, and experience of top talent for Kohler Co.
The Sr Manager, TA – China reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition, and is part of a TA Center of Excellence that supports an exciting array of work, from executive to professional & technical to manufacturing. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Build and manage a team of Recruiters and TA Coordinators responsible for the execution of a timely and effective recruiting processes. Manage and drive performance to key recruiting measurements.
2. Partner directly with HR and business leaders to ensure TA is aligned with the business priorities and meeting hiring targets.
3. In alignment with the global TA COE, help mature and regularly evaluate recruiting processes to ensure high-quality outcomes. Harmonize and embed global TA standards and processes.
4. Establish sourcing and attraction strategies that align with regional best practices and establish Kohler Co as an employer of choice. Collaborate with the global TA COE to connect to the global talent marketing and employer brand strategy.
5. Evaluate the Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Marketing technology stack and toolbox. Build and execute roadmap to ensure the regional TA team is equipped with the necessary tools.
6. Assist with identifying, developing, and measuring successful working relationships with local recruiting partners.
7. Embed data analytics into all processes and performance discussions; adjust strategies based on metrics to improve results. Provide data analysis and reports to demonstrate performance.
8. Analyze trends, conduct research, report findings, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
9. Support local and enterprise-wide efforts to increase People Leader interviewing and assessment capability; coach People Leaders on their role in the recruitment process and the importance of candidate experience
Skills/Requirements
Basic Requirements
1. Minimum of 6 years of experience leading a talent acquisition team
2. Ability to travel average of 20%+ of the time to Kohler facilities across China
3. Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Experience in high-volume manufacturing recruitment
3. Both search firm and corporate / in-house recruiting experience
4. Experience working in a multi-region TA COE and creating alignment with global processes, programs, and policies
5. Experience building or maturing a TA delivery team
6. Experience managing TA delivery in multiple Northeast Asia countries
7. Proactive; consultative; and can independently drive projects and initiatives
8. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
9. Experience making data-driven decisions
