Field Service & Delivery Specialist
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as our Field Service-Delivery Specialist.. In this entry-level position, your primary responsibility will be counting and delivering vendor-owned materials to various job sites and warehouses. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal teams. What You'll Do:
- Accurately count and verify vendor-owned inventory materials before transportation.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials to designated job sites and warehouses.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels and report discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns related to deliveries.
- Perform physical counts of vendor-owned materials with precision.
- Load and unload inventory materials onto company vehicles in a safe and organized manner.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and update material quantities.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Complete required documentation, including delivery receipts and inventory reports.
- Follow established procedures for vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and transportation regulations.
What You'll Bring:
- No prior work experience is required; entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in inventory management and transportation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management practices is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with vendors and internal teams.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
