As an Asset Based Lending (ABL) Relationship Manager at Associated Bank, you’ll manage a complex portfolio of ABL relationships while driving client growth and retention. You’ll serve as a trusted financial partner—structuring, closing, and managing asset-based loans that help businesses thrive. This role offers the opportunity to deepen client relationships, collaborate across business lines, and make a measurable impact on the bank’s commercial growth strategy.
Key Accountabilities
Manage a portfolio of ABL relationships to ensure client satisfaction, portfolio health, and compliance with credit policy and regulatory standards.
Lead the documentation, negotiation, and closing process for new and renewed ABL transactions.
Analyze client financials, monitor covenant compliance, and recommend appropriate credit actions or risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a full range of banking solutions, including Treasury Management, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management services.
Engage with business and community organizations to enhance the bank’s visibility and cultivate new business opportunities.
Participate in lender meetings and industry events to stay connected to market trends and client needs.
Refer customers and prospects to key partners across the bank to expand relationships and drive growth.
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience
8+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience
Proven record of success in client management, credit analysis, and cross-selling financial solutions
Reliable transportation and the ability to drive as needed
