Kohler’s Early Talent internship programs
are designed to provide meaningful, hands‑on experience that drives real
business impact. Over the course of a 10–12 week internship, interns are
immersed in the business—contributing to real projects, building practical
skills, and gaining valuable exposure to our teams. They are supported through
intentional learning, mentorship, and a strong sense of community. These experiences
are designed to build a strong pipeline of talent for future full-time
opportunities, including Leadership Development Programs and direct hire roles.
Program
Overview
This
is an invitation to collaborate and contribute to an environment that’s
grounded in bold, meaningful innovation. As an Intern within our Accelerated
Engineering Development Program, you’ll serve as a critical member to Kohler’s
product development teams, designing leading-edge products or technologies that
completely transform experiences we know today.
What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate Engineering Excellence: Utilize your understanding of engineering fundamentals and structured problem-solving to deliver high-quality technical designs.Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to gather feedback and ensure the highest standards for your work.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside teams in Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Industrial Design. Tackle tough challenges by leveraging diverse perspectives and recommend actionable next steps that drive consensus and alignment with business leadership.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Assess product designs for environmental sustainability and suggest enhancements. Engage directly with customers or subject matter experts to better understand installation processes and identify opportunities to elevate quality.
- Orchestrate Project Details: Apply your attention to detail to organize and coordinate technical activities, including test requests, bills of materials, engineering schedules, and other essential elements to support new product launches.

Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a major in Engineering (Mechanical discipline preferred) from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
Preferred
Qualifications
- Knowledge working in CAD modeling
- Knowledge with fabrication and/or prototyping
- Previous internship experience in product or manufacturing engineering w and in the future
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $32.35 - $40.43. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s education and work location.
