Kohler Co. is hiring immediately at our new Ann Sacks warehouse in Baltimore!What we offerMarket leading benefit package (after 30 days), including401k plan with company match11+ paid holidays annually.2 weeks vacationHealth insurance with monthly premiums currently as low as $20 per monthDental and vision insurance Company paid disability and life insuranceVoluntary benefit options such as identity protection and pet insuranceDiscounts on Kohler and Ann Sacks productsTuition support for advanced educationGrowth and career advancement opportunities Basic ResponsibilitiesThe primary purpose of this position is to ensure Ann Sacks quality standards throughout the Baltimore Warehouse with a heavy focus on inbound deliveries.Specific ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness identifying ways to improve and promote quality.Support ensuring accuracy of images inbound material at the LOT level and assists in providing LOT images requested by sales.Support Receiving Coordinator as the second check for inbound accuracy share in posting inbound goods.Accurately create inbound receiving documents.Inspect inbound shipments of tile by reviewing material laid out for images. Verify label accuracy and quantity. Communicate discrepancies to cross functional teams to determine a solution.Utilize reports to maximize material storage footprint by sku considering FIFO and single LOT pull and pack structure.Share Upload and remove LOT image responsibility.Work closely with the product managers to ensure quality standards are documented. Follows up on material falling outside of range to ensure prompt action (disposal /return of subpar goods).Provide feedback to drive improvements.Post returns.Practice and follow all required safety regulations. Participate within a safety conscience workforce, which maintains a clean and organized work environment.Effectively utilizes problem solving skills to solve challenges related to product quality and packing /shipping processes.Update all primary weekly production metrics.Cross functional support Shift Supervisor to provide backup assistance for outbound shipping while other positions are on vacation or as the business need develops.Conduct Inventory cycle counts as needed.Coordinate the efforts of others to consolidate locations to maximize space utilization.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure positive customer experience.Skills/Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment with a focus on quality control.Experience operating a forklift preferred.Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands appropriately. Communicates changes effectively supporting those affected by change then monitors transition and evaluates results.Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word required.Utilize critical thinking skills for problem solving. Demonstrates attention to detail.Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Works well in group problem solving situations, utilizing sound judgement.
