Partner with leadership to develop strategic plans and long range financial models that align with Specialty Equipment’s strategic objectives and allow the business to achieve breakthrough performance. Lead execution of the strategy deployment process by ensuring initiatives are properly resourced, have detailed action plans, and have meaningful targets. Ensure that when a target is missed a countermeasure is implemented to get the initiative back on plan. Define, conduct, and summarize market research and analysis. Make strategic recommendations to Specialty Equipment based on analysis. Lead preparation of key business driver reporting to Specialty Equipment leadership. This detailed reporting is used by executive leadership in preparation for earnings calls and other key presentations. Lead continuous improvement events (“CIEs”) and activities to enhance business development processes. Improvements should enable the department to operate efficiently and focus resources on the Company’s greatest areas of opportunity. Coach team members and actively participate in business development continuous feedback and mentoring sessions.
