Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and two or more years of relevant experience. OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in project management. Technical aptitude and understanding of prints and drawings. Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and ability to collaborate. Ability to influence without authority and handle difficult conversations with various customer groups. WORKING CONDITIONSPhysical Demands Frequent Standing, Walking/Running, Sitting, Reaching, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing; Occasional Driving, Fine Dexterity, Manual Dexterity; Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion; Seldom Lifting/Carrying 25lbs., Pushing/Pulling 25llbs. These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned Partner with the customer to validate truck specifications are identified and upheld throughout the virtual build process. Update engineering drawings and blueprints with customer changes to the truck. Understand pricing of options and be able to communicate pricing to the customer. Conduct weight reviews and working with the customer and engineering to ensure feasibility based on vehicle configuration and options selected. Act as the main point of contact for the customer from the finalization of the bid process through release of the truck to manufacturing. Host visits with the customers and sales representatives; coordinate logistics of each visit. Utilize knowledge of truck capabilities to coordinate technical build of truck in collaboration with the physical build of the truck. Finalize review packet for handoff to engineering. Host lunches and/or dinners with customers and sales representatives. MINIMUM
