r. Cybersecurity Integration Engineer Work Mode Hybrid Location Hybrid at Kohler, WI Opportunity Does writing code that ties security controls together to automatically detect and prevent cybersecurity attacks sound like an interesting challenge? The Kohler Cybersecurity team is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Integration Engineer to act as a force multiplier by creating security automations that prevent, detect, and remediate security issues across the enterprise. Our global team seeks to drive digital transformation for our business in a secure and automated fashion. Specific Responsibilities Our Cybersecurity leadership team works well together, and you would be on that team. We have architecture, operations, and governance teams; you work closely with all of them to identify, propose, develop, and implement improvements in security processes specific to automation, integration, and orchestration. We’re looking for a new teammate who is curious, self-motivated, and reliable; someone who will help us continue to foster the positive team culture we are cultivating. We need you to integrate advanced and emerging technologies to develop and optimize scalable and efficient operational workflows. This position will devise and come up with security integrations and automations such as using a suspicious login from a SIEM to temporarily disable an account; using APIs to compile historical firewall data to create new, restrictive firewall rules; or ensuring that API integrations are securely configured. This role requires a unique blend of security knowledge, coding, system administration, and systems integration to be successful. Breadth of experience and a willingness to do technical deep dives into unfamiliar technologies matters more than deep expertise in any of these domains. Not all risks are created equal. We leverage the CIS Security Controls and we have built out strong foundational platforms; we want to integrate those platforms for efficiency and scale. We can’t do it alone; the Security Integration Engineer works cross functionally with the business, IT, and enterprise functions to identify opportunities for platform integrations and/or optimizations. The engineer serves as a trusted advisor to partners in IT and the business; they must have strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in clear non-technical language. You should be able to influence key business partners, including executive leadership, and drive consensus in complex stakeholder environments with multiple conflicting priorities.Join the Kohler cybersecurity team and become an influential voice in our technical direction and how we work! Work with the business and application owners to gather requirements for API structure. Lead reviews with executive leadership, governing committees, and appropriate stakeholders to identify cybersecurity risks, needs, challenges, and the development of appropriate actions to address. Build long-term stakeholder relationships, partner on business imperatives, and manage stakeholder experience and expectations. Lead the overall approach, development, delivery, and implementation of key cybersecurity strategy and initiatives, major time frames and the definition of tangible deliverables to address and meet the desired organizational goals and outcomes. Develop capability within the cybersecurity team and IT. Grow other team members through mentoring and education. Ensure the cybersecurity team avoids or mitigates our largest risks.
