Housing Associations and Local Authorities provide much-needed housing across a broad section of the population in the UK, where consumers have limited influence in product choice. This role is key to influencing these key partners, ensuring that our customers know the key features and benefits of Mira products. You will focus on securing new business opportunities in the public sector funded residential development, managing relationships with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, OEM’s, ALMO’s, Contractors and associated partners. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES • Build, manage and convert a rolling 18-month pipeline through identification of key business opportunities of scale and term within the public-sector housing market, OEM’s and Contractors, in line with Mira’s 5-year strategic plan, driving revenue and profitability targets. • Lead and manage the customer relationships at all levels up to and including board level, across major public sector accounts, OEM’s and Contractors understanding key customer issues and opportunities, building collaborative relationships across all levels and functions to enable effective implementation to maximise opportunities.• Diagnose customer needs and build ranging, pricing and after sales proposals and incentives creating added value to drive volume. Propose and quantify solutions, generate ROI models. • Coordinate and complete external customer events (‘lunch & learns’, CPDs, industry forums). • Fully utilise Cloud for Customer (Kohler Mira CRM tool) to manage customers, pipeline, project tracking and reporting. • Build monthly forecast updates based on pipeline conversion and share internally to drive accuracy in demand planning process. • Communicate internally across relevant functions robust market, customer and competitor feedback to drive knowledge and inform commercial decision making.We are looking for • At leasttwo years experience working within a field-sales or channel role.• experienced in journey planning to include time overnight away (on average 1 overnight per week)• An energetic, eager to learn, customer focused team player who focuses on relationships and communication.• full driving license is required.
