roject Manager, Product Lifecycle Management (Faucets) Work Mode Hybrid Location Kohler, WI Opportunity The Project Manager – Lifecycle Management is responsible for interacting cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to coordinate and oversee the collaborative process of product lifecycle management. This includes managing the Phase In/Phase Out (PI/PO) process, evaluating product performance in the market (SKU productivity) and determining which products should be actioned either via targeted demand generation or discontinuation. The successful candidate will have an elevated level of data reporting, analysis, and critical thinking skills.Responsibilities and DutiesForecasting Drive continuous improvement in PI/PO forecasting process and methodology to ensure the high accuracy and low bias in the forecast. Particular focus on the strategic core product portfolio offering. Work with NPD/NPI, CPD, operations, supply chain, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to collaborate on lifecycle management. Collaborate on new products and special sales programs with Marketing, Sales and production planning team. Owns the customer relationship for new and unique sales channels. Communicate and develop relationships with Channel Marketing and Sales to gain insight on market needs and input to demand plan. Inventory Monitor product life cycle – product introduction through end of life. Ensuring the right amount of inventory is available at the right time while mitigating overstock, excess and obsolete inventories. Lead the Discontinuation Process for Product Marketing through collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Management & Finance. Own the commercial strategy for managing overstock, excess and obsolete inventory. Collaborating with Supply Chain, Sales, Product Marketing & Finance on overall product strategy. Analysis and Reporting Report KPI’s to ensure performance and communicate exceptions to appropriate people. Key KPIs are New Product forecast accuracy and BIAS, 30 day, 90 day and 180 day lags. Overstock, Excess and Obsolete inventory as a % of total inventory. These vary by market category and channel. Document processes, policies, procedures, and test system modifications and reports as required. Gather data from a variety of sources. Assess, interpret, and analyze the data in development of a thorough, accurate, and supportable demand forecast for use in production requirements and financial planning. Provide ad hoc reports as requested to assist management decision. Skills/Requirements BS/BA in Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Operations, or related field B.S. degree from an accredited college/university. 5+ years successful Forecasting, Inventory Management, or Demand Planning experience. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerBI for data analysis. Salesforce software experience is preferred. Have ability to perform in-depth data analysis and present insights in a clear manner, listen well and seek input from others. Effectively communicates across the business. Analytic skills must include the ability to see the big picture and the demonstration of strong business intuition. Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and continually improve processes and tools. The salary range for this position is $87,450 - $111,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
